This newsletter is your forum for discussing ABA events, activities, policies, business, the how and why we did that, and just plain old fashioned “pass the word” concerning the ABA and your club.

Topic of the Quarter

I did not receive any responses to the Topic of the Quarter for the newsletter.

Articles

This quarter’s newsletter started out with only two articles and was ready to be released, however there are now has seven articles submitted thanks to Gary and others helping. Now is a good time to begin thinking, writing, and rounding up those pictures for the 1st of September issue of the ABA news. Feel free to send any article to me when you complete it.

The articles describe three of the recent multi-day parties and other activities by ABA clubs. Please read them and see what other ABS clubs are doing and how they are actively promoting our style of dance and music as well as the ABA. The article “A Liitle Help From Our Friends” shows how great things can happen when two clubs work together to provide an opportunity for us all to dance. Well done! And the letter by Murray Echols from the JBY Ballroom Dance Clubi in Birmingham Alabama say it all.

Like reading about food and a good time, the read about the Midwest Swing Dance Federation picnic. The pictures show the great time everyone had.

And finally there there is an article about bowling by Spa City … huh? Oh, you just need to read the article.

A big Thank You to everyone submitting an articles and to Gary, our ABA President, for encouraging people to write their articles.
