Club Promotion
Follow-up for the Last Topic of the Quarter

In order to promote our club, we advertise in about four newspapers in our surrounding area. Fortunately, the papers we advertise in do not charge us. We have had a large article put in regarding our Illinois Traditional Contest several years ago, with which they also included pictures.
We do use our website alot, and we have a member that keeps it up to date for us. Jan Scott, our web master, adds pictures from many of our events to keep it intersting. Our website is http://www.music-il.com/ Take a look at it.
We have free lessons at all of our meeting dates, except when we have live bands, which is about four times a year.
At times we pass out free admission cards to people who might want to come in for the first time.
