We’d like to announce the release of our third CD, “Let’s Dance U.S.A. III” on June 5th, 2006. We also know, that dancers do purchase music. The N.A.R.B. Dee Jays will be making our latest effort available, in conjunction with Ripete Records, to all dance clubs in the U.S.A.
Dance clubs can purchase the CD for $10.00, plus shipping, and resell it to their members, for $15.00 and raise money for their club.
Some clubs, also used the CD for door prizes or contest winners. The Cincinnati Bop Club and The Memphis Bop Club, each purchased 50 copies each, of "Let's Dance U.S.A. II", with successful results. The most common remark that dee jays hear, is “Where can I get that song?” Well, A.B.A. Dance Clubs, you can help your members enjoy the same music, that we the dee jays will be introducing on your dance floors. Simply place your order with the N.A.R.B Dee Jays, by calling Tom Polzin (662-342-6413) or Dave Roby (407) 932-1733.
“Where can I get that song?”
This project will include 22 songs, including:
| Gary Brown's “Halfway To Paradise” and | |
| Sammy O'Banion’s “What’s Goin’ On” which are already charting on some of the dee jays top song lists. |
You’ll also find
| “Macon, Memphis & Mussleshoals‘ by Paul Craver, | |
| “Hotel Happiness” by The Rickey Godfrey Band, | |
| ”Wonderful Waste Of Time” by The Fantastic Shakers, | |
| “Movin’ On Down The Line” by Johnny Williams, | |
| “Man Size Job” by Barbara Blue, | |
| “I Caught Hell Getting Over You” by Ronnie Barnes, | |
| “Wild Thing” by Johnny Williams |
and 13 other great dance tunes.
In 2005, “Let’s Dance U.S.A. II” received 3 nominations from the “Cammy Awards” and won “The Song Of The Year”, with Gary Brown’s “Is The Magic Still There.” This project is loaded with great songs and we’re hoping for the same results in 2007.
Without a doubt, this is a great way to impress your membership, by offering them another benefit for being a member of your dance club.
The smaller record companies and the “Artists” are also looking at the dance clubs as an additional source, to legally distribute their work, and gain recognition around the country. So, American Bop Association Members, “Let‘s Dance U.S.A.”
