ABA Cruise 2006 for me…
Submitted by Kappy Chermak, Ohio’s North Coast Jitterbug Connection
A dream cruise! A week you can only imagine! Seven days of fun and relaxation! Something for everyone.
The Caribbean Princess was so large that if Gary, his committee and Maureen hadn’t been able to schedule the special events we wouldn’t have seen anyone.
You were afforded the excitement of being a real party animal or the luxury of pampering yourself 24 hours a day. As most of you know… I go for the pampering and my “beauty sleep” most of the time.
Princess is the only way to go! Anticipating your every need, the staff is incredible! Our room was magnificent. And the one thing that set this cruise apart from any other was nearly 300 ABA friends that gathered to enjoy each other and our great dance music that was enjoyed by all aboard.
What a way to promote the ABA! People from all over the world was exposed to our hospitality, dance styles and music.
Every adventure has its unexpected twists and turns as did this one. No one could have anticipated the high winds that followed us all the way to St. Thomas. They only added to the challenge of the dance lessons in Club Ski-walker. But most kept “their cookies”, a light heart and a sense of humor. Club Fusion was the club of all clubs with its wooden dance floor and cabaret style seating. Gary and Maureen were already making contacts on this cruise for the next one in 2007. Ironing out all the wrinkles now, promises smooth sailing for the trip to the Western Islands.
Everyone comes to something like this with their own expectations. Mine couldn't have been fulfilled more perfectly.
Way to go! Thanks EVER SO MUCH!
Do yourself a favor and plan to attend next year. I sure hope we will be able to swing it!
