From the Editor’s Desk
Welcome to the ABA news, communicating with and supporting the member clubs of the American Bop Association. This newsletter is your forum for discussing ABA events, activities, policies, business, the how and why we did that, and just plain old fashioned “pass the word” concerning the ABA and your club.
Topic of the Quarter
During lunch at the annual ABA business meeting, I became involved in a discussion with some directors concerning the operation of their registration desk during club activities. It appears several clubs continue to wrestle with how to best handle their registration desk. So, for the next issue of the ABA news, let’s explore the problems and solutions associated with a club’s registration desk. I think it would be interesting to know:
| How does your club staff the registration desk? |
| Rotating club members who volunteer? | |
| Registration committee members? | |
| Paid staff? |
| Do you use reconciliation sheets? | |
| Does only one person handle the money? | |
| Who is responsible, the club treasurer or someone else? |
So, get your thoughts together and your pencils moving
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
